Kelowna, BC (March 25, 2022) – RE/MAX Kelowna has been awarded the RE/MAX Million Miracles award, in recognition of their donation to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation exceeding $1 million. RE/MAX Kelowna affiliates’ contributions help fund innovative research, lifesaving equipment and family-centred care programs. RE/MAX Kelowna is the third RE/MAX office in Western Canada to receive this coveted award.

“Surpassing the $1-million donation mark is an incredible milestone and accomplishment,” says Elton Ash, Executive Vice President at RE/MAX Canada. “RE/MAX Kelowna’s unyielding commitment to the health and wellbeing of children is amazing.”

RE/MAX Kelowna has been a proud supporter of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) since 2007. In 2012, the office was awarded the Children’s Hope award for surpassing $500,000 in total funds raised for CMN.

RE/MAX Kelowna is committed to serving the community in which their affiliates live and work, with the creation of the Legacy Foundation serving Kelowna and surrounding areas. Past charitable support includes contributions to YMCA of Central Okanagan, JoeAnna’s House, Salvation Army, Food Bank and Women’s Shelter.

“Our affiliates have really taken this cause to heart. It’s truly amazing to be part of it,” says Jerry Redman, Owner and Director at RE/MAX Kelowna.

“Reaching this donation milestone is something to celebrate, and we look forward to continuing these efforts that make a real difference within our community.”

This year (2022) marks the 30-year anniversary of the philanthropic partnership between RE/MAX, LLC and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. To date, RE/MAX affiliates in Canada have donated more than $89 million. The cornerstone of the partnership is the RE/MAX Miracle Home Program, through which many agents donate after a closed transaction. The Miracle Home Program is designed to connect RE/MAX agents with member hospitals of CMN Hospitals by encouraging them to donate on behalf of their clients to directly benefit their local member children’s hospital.
